Half-way!

I'm actually a few days short of half-way but oh well. In case you didn't get it from the new background, we're having a boy! Brandon and I are beyond thrilled. We both really wanted a boy and could only think of boy names, so I was sure we were going to have a girl. Isn't that always how things work out? So I was incredibly happy to be wrong. :)

The Dr. said everything looked great! He (I love finally being able to say he - I was sick of calling him "it") is measuring just a few days ahead of schedule but I don't think they changed my due date or anything. And now for some pictures.

Here is my fav - isn't it such a cute little foot?? You can see all the toes and everything. I love how it is pretty much the only thing on the screen. So stinkin' cute already.

We weren't able to get a really good profile shot of his whole body but we did get this awesome shot of his whole leg. (His upper leg is up to the left.)

And for the coveted "gender" shot. I have seen other ultrasounds where people even put arrows and said "it's a boy" and I still didn't see it. But our ultrasound tech got a really good picture and explained it and everything. So over on the left you have the both upper legs and in between....well its definitely a boy!

Hopefully the pictures are as clear as I think they are. These are all ones that Brandon got as still-shots off the DVD they gave us.

Not much else going on here. I got back into town a week ago after spending 2 and 1/2 weeks in Colorado with my family. For those who don't know, my sister Emili was in a very serious car accident about a month ago. It is an absolute miracle that she is still alive, and doing as well as she is. We are really close so it was a really hard time for me. But she is doing great! Lots of broken bones and lots of rehab will be required, but she is so awesome. Quick update - she is finally out of ICU and into a long-term acute care hospital. She is absolutely amazing and I really want to thank everyone for all the prayers and kind words. It's awesome how much support I have gotten from my friends alone, and most of them don't even know her! She is one loved girl.

I think that is about it for now! I suppose one of these days I will take some profile shots now that I'm actually starting to look prego. On a completely random note, I found the CUTEST maternity capris at Kohls while I was in Colorado. One pair for $4 and another for $8. Oh plus the 30% off coupon that Sara had. Steal! And I'm always hot so capris are a year-round wear for me.

So NOW that's all! :)
