Still Alive.

I have so much to blog about it is ridiculous! Since my last post, Brandon and I...
  • Packed, cleaned, and moved out of our apartment
  • Spent Christmas in Maryland with Brandon's family
  • Celebrated our 3rd anniversary
  • Spent New Year's also in Maryland
And to top it all of, have now parted ways for 2 and 1/2 months. Wow. A busy month.

The first doesn't require a lot of info. I was a lot less helpful than I thought I would be and Brandon was so understanding! He worked so hard and we only got out a few hours later than we planned! Plus, we got to see the Lyons twice which was a lot of fun! We drove to Utah and then flew out to Maryland the next afternoon.

We spent the holidays out with Brandon's family. We watched a LOT of football (my favorite holiday activity) and just relaxed! It was just what we needed. Brandon's parents tried to spoil us but we couldn't think of anything we wanted! It was kind of sad. But we still had a great time.

Now for our 3rd anniversary! I can't believe it has been that long already! Brandon and I went out to lunch together and then went out to dinner with his parents and brother. Not exactly the day I had envisioned/hoped for....but oh well. Water under the bridge.

Now I am back in Colorado and Brandon is in Maryland. He starts his internship on Monday - I can tell he is really excited for it. On my last night there we went out to dinner and then drove out to where he will be working. It was really fun for me to see. Then we finished the night off right - with ice cream! We spent so much time just talking, it was great. A little more what I had envisioned for our anniversary actually haha. So I guess I got that night eventually. The next morning he dropped me off at the airport. I was a little worried going through security since I was bawling my eyes out. I thought they were going to think I was crazy and pull me aside or something haha. But it was fine. I keep wondering if being apart for this time really was the right decision (coincidentally when I get really emotional and miss him) but I know it was.

On New Year's Eve we did something incredibly, amazingly awesome! But it deserves it own post with pictures AND a video that I don't have right now. So stay tuned for that!
