Cereal Eatin' Machine.

While I was in Colorado for a few weeks, we gave Mace cereal for the first time! He LOVED it. No 'ick' faces and no gagging. Just lots and lots of lunging toward the spoon. He actually started crying when I didn't get another spoonful fast enough. He did such a good job. He is a very impressive little one. Here is the finished product. Kudos to Auntie Em for holding him during this very messy endeavor.


What else happened? Well Mace turned 4 months old. And then 5. Haha I prooobably should at least be updating with his monthly pictures. Oh well. Someday. I'm still editing a 4 month picture to put on here, but here are the stats.

• 17lbs 6oz (90th percentile)
  
• 25 1/2 in (75th percentile)

Yes, he is a CHUNKER! And well, I can't really remember much that he was doing specifically at 4 months, so I guess that's all you get.

For his 5 month picture, I have yet to take it. And he didn't have a dr. appt this month so we just weighed him on our scale to get a general idea. He was around 20lbs. Oh.My.Gosh. We were able to skype with Brandon's dad and brother last night and they both said he looks a lot taller so I'm interested to see how tall he has gotten. Pretty sure I can't get that measurement myself. He wiggles way too much.

He has completely found his feet. Loves them. Loves to just hang out on the floor in the 'happy baby' yoga position. He will literally sit there for like half an hour or longer. It's fabulous. He gets them into his mouth on occasion and loves with Brandon hits them to his face. Weirdo.

In honor of Lego: Harry Potter (Years 1-4) that we got last week and have been playing nonstop, I solemly swear to blog more.
