I have been planning on updating for A LONG time, but the pictures I want to put up are on Brandon's computer and I just never got them off. But I finally decided that it was so long overdue now that I should just post and then put the pictures up whenever I get around to it. Awesome.
So much has been happening lately! Brandon had a super busy semester but came through with flying colors! I was so proud of him. I also managed to squeak out an 'A' in my weight training class. Hard work. :) It was definitely one of the most fun semesters I have had since I've been at school. Brandon's dad came out to visit over Memorial Day weekend, which also happened to be his birthday, so that was loads of fun! On the actual night of his birthday we actually had all his siblings there too! Lauren came up for a few days and Josh and Andrea came up for the day as well! It was so much fun and I know Brandon loved being able to share his birthday with his family.
Not even a full month later, Brandon's mom came out to visit us! We got to spend a lot of time with her and loved it! Lauren came up for a couple of days again, which we loved again, and it was just a great time! They came just a few days before my birthday so another birthday was spent with family! We got incredibly spoiled this year.
In between all of that, of course we had the World Cup! We enjoyed every minute of it! Well, Brandon as much as he could. He didn't get the luxury of watching pretty much every game, like I did. For the US vs. England match we had some friends over and I had TONS of fun making themed foods! These are the pictures I really wanted to show off....oh well. Someday. I made English (for England) muffin pizzas and cut the pepperonis into hexagons so the pizzas looked like soccer balls and then made a t-shirt cake then decorated it as the US jerseys! It was so cute I didn't even want to eat it.
What else...oh I got a calling in our ward. I am the 1st Counselor in the Primary Presidency! I've been in for a while now and it is so fun! I love primary! I was secretly hoping I would get put in the Primary Presidency and then it happened! Brandon is still just hanging out, usually "helping" Brandon and Hilary in the library every other week haha.
Right now we are 100% enjoying our break! It has been really great, sleeping in, just lounging on the couch, laying outside on a blanket reading a book or doing puzzles, it is fabulous!
Hopefully pictures will come soon!
