Creativity

I have none. Zero. Zip. Zilch. I blame it on all my accounting classes. I swear, they suck the creativity right out of ya! Haha just kidding. But really I have been trying to come up with all these creative ways to say this, but then a very wise friend whom I miss very dearly (aka Destiny) told me that I should just come out and say it. SO I will! Brandon and I........are having a baby!!!! I am 13, almost 14 weeks along and due March 13th! Phew! I feel relief already getting that out - and I haven't even published this post yet. Woah. Anyways, yes we are FINALLY expecting and are so incredibly excited! Well mostly I am. I think Brandon be excited when our little one is finally here. This will be the first grandchild on both sides, so I know it will be one spoiled and loved bundle of joy.

It's amazing to me how much better the Lord knows us, our situation in life, etc. than we ourselves do! I remember thinking every month, oh this would be perfect timing to get prego for this reason, blah blah blah. And it never happened! Finally I decided that the Lord must know more than I do (duh!) and that when it finally did happen, I would be amazed at how actually perfect it would be. And, of course, I am amazed! We really could not have asked for better timing in our lives. I am so grateful that sometimes the Lord doesn't give us what we want when we want it, but when he knows we need it.

Nothing is quite as exciting as starting our family, but this is pretty close! Brandon got ANOTHER internship!! I am so incredibly proud of him!! He is so excited about it and he should be!! SO he will be headed back to Maryland for the winter semester to live with his parents and I will head to Colorado to stay with mine. I know it sounds crazy! Fortunately we both know that this is the best solution for us and our situation. We know it's the right thing for us to do. So go ahead and think we're crazy. :)

I'll try to put up an ultrasound pic tomorrow or Saturday, so come back and look at it. I think that's it for now!
