6 Months!

Our little Mace Face is now 6 months old! And I actually have pictures! Biiig shocker, I know.

Tada.

Sadly, he is not so little anymore! 20 lbs, 27 inches. Both the 75th percentile. We have a chunker. He rolls over like a champ and is able to wriggle himself forward to get things he really wants - its as close to crawling as we have gotten. It's amazing how he really can get to anything now. He can see something he wants and will change positions so rolling will get him to it.

I still think sitting is his favorite position. He will sit and play with toys for 10-20 minutes at a time without falling over. He will even lean to get toys and still stay up! He's pretty awesome. Although I'm pretty sure that his ability to sit is heavily reliant on his chunky thighs. They sure help.

What else...he is also a champ at eating! Chicken, carrots, pears, sweet potatoes, green beans, and peas are what he's had so far. He doesn't like them all (definitely not the beans or peas) but eats them up anyways. Food is food, right? Sweet potatoes are definitely his favorite! We were down in Idaho Falls with Jake and Taci last weekend and he actually started crying when I put the lid on the jar. Apparently he wasn't done yet. Whoops. I was expecting him to have a more adverse reaction to the fruit - because of how sweet it is - but nope. I was actually a little disappointed. I was hoping to have some for myself. I LOVE fruit baby food. Delish.

Brandon and I are doing great! The semester started 2 weeks ago and things are good. I have gone to class all 4 times so far which is HUGE for me. I was really worried that I wouldn't remember how to do anything, seeing as how this is my first accounting class in 2 years, but it was all still there, right under the surface. Brandon's senior project is going really well. He keeps saying "When I figure 'blank' out, I will be on the home stretch." Then he figures it out and runs into another problem and said it again. And again. It's a vicious cycle but I think we are actually nearing the end.

So school is great, Mason is great and still growing, and we're looking forward to General Conference this next weekend! I'm still trying to convince Brandon to go down to Utah so we can go to his mission reunion, since it is really our last chance, but I doubt it will happen. Oh well.

Oh and a quick shout out to mi hermana Emili. Today is the 1 year anniversary of her car accident. I am so grateful you are still here on the Earth with us. And I'm so proud of how far you've come. You are so incredibly strong and I love you so much. And so does this bug.
