Yes, this goober boy is 7 1/2 months old! And cute as ever, can't you tell? His hair just keeps getting longer and longer and more red! I took some picture the other day/night and they turned out really well. More on down in the post. Something to keep you interested in my blabbing.
He is still growing like a maniac. We just moved him up to size 4 (!!) diapers because I was sick of getting him up in the morning or after a nap to find his clothes soaked. 22 lbs as of two nights ago. The good news is that he has finally started crawling so maybe he will start working off some of the weight. And please, tell me about your 15 month old who is still in size 3. I actually like hearing about it haha. (I'm serious. That was not sarcasm. I like hearing how he's huge.)
At 7 months. He loves to sit. Still. He will fuss and fuss and no matter what is wrong, just plop him on his bum and he's happy. He still can't get into the sitting position on his own, but we're working on it. He's finally starting to crawl. Yay for forced neatness & organization. Loves food. I still can't get him to eat bananas, but he loves all the veggies and the meats, as well as applesauce, pears, peaches. And he'll eat the applesauce, strawberry, banana mix. And he loves real bananas. Just not the plain jarred ones. He's also had waffles, potato soup, steamed broccoli, carrots, squash, and cauliflower, bread, cornbread, beef stew, rice pudding, and mac & cheese. He's finally to the point where (as of last night) he will whine when you eat food in front of him. Sooo fun. (Now that was sarcasm)
He is pretty good at drinking out of his sippy cup. We've been trying to teach him to drink out of it and put it down, rather than use it like a bottle, and he does it! Last night I stood him at the table and he picked up the cup, brought it to his mouth and raised it, took a drink, and then brought it down. And repeat. It was awesome. I was so proud. He loves his white grape juice. We tried apple but that backed him up so far out of town we were miserable for days. Until we figured out what it was. So we're sticking to the white grape.
Other than that we're doing good! Brandon finished his senior project and is close to finishing his two online classes! It means a lot more time to spend with us. My class is going really well. I remember why I love accounting and am actually considering a CPA again. Eek. Now we're just trying to get our move finalized and then we're off!
Aaand here's the pictures I promised. Thanks for listening to my boring life.
