I surely do. And I haven't been all that busy, so no excuses. Just lazy. I guess a lot has happened since I posted last, and to keep this from turning into a 10 page blog, I will just do a list like I see other people doing sometimes!
- I injured my computer....again! That's right. More water. I just want them to play nice! I laughed, Brandon will be more upset when it happens again after my computer is no longer under warranty, but for now I just get the "no water around electronics" lecture. So the motherboard is all messed up and likes to put random zzz's on anything it can type on, yet I can't seem to make a z by simply pressing the button. Good thing I don't use that letter very much.
- Brandon officially submitted his resume, application, etc. for an internship in Maryland this coming winter! Not sure how long it will take to find anything out, but it's looking more and more like we will be heading to Maryland! A little scary, a little exciting.
- Next semester will be my last semester of classes!! I have 4 left (assuming I pass them all this semester) and then will do an internship in the winter (hopefully) and will officially graduate in April! Super excited. Trust me, no one ever thought this day would come. :)
- Brandon and I both got callings in our ward! He is the 3rd Sunday teacher for Elder's Quorum. He is really excited because he gets to teach from the Joseph Smith manual and he LOVES teaching about Joseph Smith. I am the 2nd Counselor in the Primary Presidency! We have a pretty newly-wed ward, but we do have one little boy, Matthew, who is nursery age! I will do my first lesson this Sunday, but I have been in there a couple of times already. Anna and Rachael (the other girls in the Presidency) are awesome and I'm really excited to get to know them better and serve with them!
- Brandon attended his first Pre-Med Society meeting last week. A professor on campus who used to be a doctor talked to them about Med School and choosing your specialty. He is still set on being a pediatrician, so yes for ten more years of school!
- Brandon had a birthday! He is terrible at knowing what he wants but I always know I'm safe with a bunch of baby ruths! The night before I made his favorite dinner - Fettuccine Alfredo (with Taci's awesome recipe!) - and then decorated the whole apartment after he left that morning and it was so fun! I got balloons and banners and stuff all at the dollar store so it was super cheap! We also went out to dinner with Taci and Jake to celebrate! They were super sweet and got him, well us, camp chairs! I'm excited to use them for 4th of July. Then we spent the rest of the night talking and playing games. We sure love them.
- I made the CUTEST thing at enrichment like a month ago. It is a jewelry organizer. Our enrichment leader, Courtney, is so awesome and always has wonderful things for us to do! She had frames and fabric and ribbon and buttons and all kinds of fun things to decorate with. I picked a black frame and bright blue fabric with white polka dots. It was funny because Courtney bought that thinking "Molly will use this one", and I did! One of these days I will take a picture.
- I think we finally got everything figured out for Erik, Brandon's brother who I have never met. He gets back from his LDS mission in Italy at the beginning of August! He is coming up here for school starting in the fall, so we have been figuring out housing and classes. It was SO stressful, but I think we're almost done. I am so excited to meet him!
- Midterm grades came out and I am having my most successful semester yet! It's amazing what work at 8:00 am will do for you! It has made a huge impact on my class attendance. I'm already up and on campus, so why not go to class? Yay for good grades!
- I am trying to figure out a way to go down and visit Mobile, AL! Our friends moved down there and we miss them! Yes, we miss you Destiny and Dallin! Not that you didn't know that. :)
Now some family highlights!
- Congrats to my sister who finally got a job! She gets to do some marketing so she will be great at that!
- My other sister is moving to Logan, UT in August to start her Ph.D program! Holy cow my family is smart! I know she'll do great too!
- Brandon's mom made it through the year (she is a kindergarten aid) and is now on her summer vacation! Yes! :)
I think that is about it. It doesn't look like I'm too successful at condensing things. I always have been long-winded. Oh well. Love you all!
